Normally every year for as long as I can remember we have had lovely sunny, simpson cloud days out at Sutton Bonington Show, this year, it was a little wet and maybe the start of the September that we have got used to with umbrella's and sunshine a predominant feature, can't complain as a photographer, grey clouds can add drama and we all know I love drama! Sutton Bonington Show is a local event that Captcha Photography support every year and its wonderful to see so many of our friends and customers there, popping by to say Hello and to have a chat. Plus, lets face it, it also doesn't do the business any harm either as we showcase some of our latest work in the studio, on location and at weddings. The weekend before we had been at Sutton Bonington Hall for Rachel and Ben's weddings so it felt like a Sutton Bonington week all round. So nice that the owners of the hall let the show organisers use the land each year.
Its lovely to say a big thank you to the organisers of the show who work tirelessly on the run up to the event and on the day and after to create the activities, competitions, shows and all round general village country loveliness on our doorstep. I fondly drive up to see the lovely Barbara greeting me with her clipboard and her smile as she nods and says...same place Hayley.
I sent Marcus out this year to photograph the activities, we had our new "doggie art" on display and I wanted to see how popular it was with the locals. Happy to report that all you crazy dog loving folk adored it and we made a few sales. For those of you who may very well spot themselves on this site (my mini me Noah!) the gallery of images are here at this link:
