Its never what it seems!

August 11, 2017

So, after spending a late dusky summer afternoon in a garden, forest and church photographing the wedding dresses and separates from Bride Diva.  We were reduced to a rapidly fading sky and not a lot of light left to show off one of the wonderful wedding corsetts reliving its life with a more casual attire.  Who says you can't wear your wedding dress again?

Two dilemma's....fading light....and how to go from a wedding dress set to a "night out" look in Wendy's back garden.  So cue my shimmery £3.99 silver curtain, Gill's fancy candleabra and candles.  And Ellie, looking lovely and ready for a night on the town.  I used my 5D mk III with an Canon speedlight camera flash slightly to the right and with a bit of fancy NIK filtering, soft diffusing of the skin...hey presto.  Great look all in someones back garden at 9pm on a summer night.

Here's how we did it!
