A day in the life of...

January 9, 2019

So, many ask what type of photography we specialise in and what we do, so I thought, today is a good example of what we get up to at Captcha Photography.  Wednesday 9th January went something like this...

Uploaded the Smart App Gallery for a family who had a shoot at home (we can do this instead of the studio!)...we just bring all our gear...

Mandy was busy creating a new wedding album design for a lovely couple who got married in September.  They had chosen their images and wanted this laid out in a creative style, 1st draft was made using our artistic album creation software DG Photo-art.  Pages were then uploaded to our website for the bride and groom to see.

Newborn shoot at 12 for 2 hours, little Tommy was so sweet (although he wasn't so little), in the 2 hours he had managed to sneak 2 little feeds from mummy keeping him happy and topped up, he wee'd on his daddy so we moved to a nappy and a cover up wrap.  We did several different poses including him on the black bean bag doing the  "in the air" and "cradle" shots as well as some of his feet his smile, his yawn, with his new daddy, with his new mummy and then all 3 of them together.  They all went away a little tired and ready to put their feet up for a rest.

We then had 2 lovely ladies from Elvin Moore in who were having their profile shots done for the company website and to use digitally for images at Linked in and other sites.  Its great the profile shots as we get to know you to understand what you like and dislike to get a shot that your really happy with going "public".

Baby Charlie then came in for his passport shot, 10 months old gurgling away and we got his shot in 10 images.  Perfect, no hassle sitting in a booth or trying to press buttons at the same time as holding the baby.  Those images will be printed by 9am tomorrow ready for collection.

In the meantime, Mandy has already started on baby Tommy's shots and I've got the profile shots ready for delivery....

Now its off for tea and then heading off to chair tonights meeting for the East Leake Traders Association....How was your Wednesday?
