The Priest House

February 6, 2020

Set against the river in a lovely location that is steeped in medieval history, the Priest House Hotel is the site of the ancient Kings Mill originally used to make coins for the royal mint.  The Hotel sits in idylic grounds South facing you can watch the sun glisten in the river during the day and settle down in an orange glow at night.

If you want a rapunzel tower and lots of lovely rustic features with rooms for a big old sleep over for family and friends this is a perfect venue.  It has a number of rooms for hire with a downstairs Garden and Terrace Suite (providing complete wedding privacy) or an upstairs River suite with lead lined windows and beams then this just perfect for different rooms for different purposes.

The grounds are extensive and feature not just the water wheels, not just 1 set but two, the original cottages, the priest house itself, gardens, meadows, willows, woodlands and walk along a river.  The latest development is opening up the River Terrace enabling us to get into the turn of the river and really get some great shots.

This perfect venue is great all year round as the inside gives you and your guests inside opportunities without feeling cramped.
