Pete Spowage Original Artwork
Pete has been an artist in Nottingham for half his life... and he'll never tell you how long that is! He has a contemporary style in much of his work using the white canvas as an imaginary space to create wonderful images and illusions.
His work is inspired by his love of Africa, where he spends his time painting, and helping Framing and Community projects and charities.
His black and white artwork has been created somewhere on a plain in Kenya.
Colours and contemporary work tends to happen at his studio in Nottingham as he just can't carry this size artwork, canvas and paints around the plains of Africa. If you can't see something you like then Pete is more than happy to carry out a personalised commission.
He is an incredibly kind soul, a colourful character (just like his coloured canvas's) and his art is amazing.
